Sara L. Collins worked as a regulatory archaeologist at SHPD for ten years. Her areas of responsibility included Maui and Kaua‘i Counties and the City and County of Honolulu. She has also taught Historic Preservation at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa. Her professional and research interests include Hawaiian archaeology, human and faunal osteology, forensic anthropology, and historic preservation law and practice.
